Blessings...

Yesterday, I came home from High River to find something that truly blew my mind. Two of my roommates told me that there was an envelope on my bed. One of them told me that there was money in it and I didn't believe him at first. I went upstairs to find an encouragement note that truly blessed my heart and $150! Praise God. Whomever gave me this blessing said that they wanted to "bring a bit of peace of mind" to me and it just so happens that I have a bill due in the next couple of days that this gift covers! God truly provides for ALL things.

The Travel Bug

For years, I dreamed of leaving the borders of Canada and exploring the world that God has created. In February, I was finally able to start exploring the world. I was in Ecuador on a missions trip with a group from Ambrose. Travelling is as exciting and awe-inspiring as I dreamed it would be. While I was in Quito, our group went to a place called Teleferiqo. Teleferiqo is a gondella that takes you about 3500 feet above the city and the view of Quito is incredible. Quito stand at about 10,000 feet above sea level so I was 13,500 feet above sea level at one point! I could watch the clouds roll by and it was incredible. I also had the opportunity to see the Equator. I have the totally unoriginal, yet incredibly cool picture of one foot in each hemisphere.

With that being said, Ecuador is just the beginning. I hope to see more of the world that God has created. I think that Europe is next on my list. I understand why people fall in love with travel...Creation captivates the heart.
